XBox 360 / Full or Core?

I was going to wait for the PS3, but seen as everyone on here seems to be rating it so much i now want one.

Is it worth pay the extra £70 for the full system?
Can i buy it all seperate at a later date?
is it much more to do this?
Will i suffer with the poverty spec for upto 5 weeks (f**king christmas bank rape!)
Should i just wait till my monthly budget allows the full version?

I have to say full version - you'd have to buy *a* memory medium for it and the HDD is sooooooo convenient.

my bro got the core for xmas, and just bought the online bits (not needed if you wont be going online) and the hd cable he pinched off my little bro! ha ha

Online was a must and just read that i need one if i want to go online + its a wireless pad which is a bonus.

Full system it is then, anyware cheaper than £279
