Xbox One/Destiny problem

I just got my One setup, with Destiny. My new broadband is absymally slow, but think it's now installed. It then said it needed to update, but then the update doesn't appear in the queue. When I click on the game tile to start, it makes a noise but nothing happens (apart from like a black border going round it). It's the only game I have so not got anything else to try - any suggestions???

I have been waiting for this game and console for ages so this is a terrible start! Please, please help!!!

Turns out all that was needed was a hard restart. Amazing - brand new console and the whole 'turning it off at the plug' fixes it (I had of course tried turning the console off and on before this, in case you asked!)
