xenon headlamps

hey,got 172 xenon kit on my dynamique and the passenger side colour of the bulb is perfect and gives out a purple tint. my passenger side unit is alot whiter and does not give out a very blue/purple tint. its not the bulbs as they are both brand new? jus wondered if any of you know what the problem could be? thanks!

the lamps are the cause
just a slight difference in the manufacturing process

could it not be the shells and the way they are levelled?

yeah the bulbs(correct name is lamps)

Yep sounds like 2 different types of bulbs to me with different colour temperatures. Or maybe if one was replaced and the other one was well burnt in maybe??

Edit: ahh, just noticed they were both brand new, excuse the second bit above, ooopps.

wellwhen they came one was phillips and one was osram so bought an osram bulb from spammy and it is still the same? but the first time i turn them on they are both the same purplish colour then after a few secs the drivers side goes white?

anybody know what this could be?

maybe a dodgy lamp, it is recommened that you fit exactly the same lamps to as the colour can be slightly off.. only thing i can think of is to buy a brand new pair.

they are both brand new osram bulbs?could it be the projector lense damaged or something?
