Xenon headlight broken. Alignment problem

My car failed its MOT as a result of the passenger Xenon shining too high up. However would appear to be a problem with the self levelling motor thing.
If I remove one of the caps on the rear of the light, with my finger I can wobble the silver insert that holds the bulbs moves so the beams move up and down, making me think it might be broken. The driver side unit I can't move.
Anyone had this problem, not sure where to go from here, don't really want to buy and new light unit as will be $$

Its a common problem unfortunately as the internals are all plastic (and naturally heat up/fatigue). Your only options are to take the housing apart and glue whatever has broken back together or source another headlight.
