Xenon Issue

A couple of weeks ago I posted about a problem with my passenger side Xenon light, I've had it in Renault and they have diagnosed the fault as a BALLAST RESISTOR, now to replace this part they want £269 (Parts, Labour + VAT) Thats on top of the £59.22 they have charged me today to find out whats wrong with it . Surely there has to be a cheaper alternative ??
Please help - Its far too close to Xmas to be handing out this sort of cash! :dapprove:

get one from a scrappys/breakers! you can get a full pair/set of xenons for less than that!

See if matt black knows of any,he's pretty good with this stuff

http://www.renault-spare-parts.com/ which is Matt Blacks place, has a complete headlamp unit for £175 which it says includes Ballast's but there out of stock at the minute, Would this include the Resistor?

yeah matt black sells them for £300 brand new.Then sell your others to make some cash back
