also I asked how much it is gonna cost em.......... 1200 notes hahahaha!!!
At the production line when the cars are being built they order in the expected number of parts required,
So say 100 cars are being built and the delivery truck dont turn up in time with the production of the car, with a production line you cant just stop it ,it would cost way way to much money to do this, so an similar part is fitted to prevent stopage.
One example of this is they sent over 2000 cars over here that should have had alloys fitted, but because they didnt get them in time they had to fit steel rims and tyres.
All the cars affected by this are noted down and when they arrive at the import centre the correct wheels and tyres would be fitted.
All the steel wheels and tyres had to sent for scrap.
I expect this may have been what happened with the xexon lights but maybe the note to say change to xexon got forgotten.
It should have been spotted anyway ate the PDI and the final inspection at the dealer.
