Xenons - Will this d2s kit attach to the unit?

Will it attach to a xenon unit? And hold in place?

Nope. The plug on a standard ballast is on the underside of it. No aftermarket ballast will fit.

True, so what your saying is the ballast wont bolt in place of the original?

But will the red plug twist into the headlight? and hold?

At a guess I'd say yes, as in Xenons the bulbs are held in by a seperate clip not by the plug as the halogens are.

if you're going to use one of those in place of normal renault ballasts, you'll need to cut wires.

Alright so i think the after market ballast idea is out the window, Dont want to be splicing wires and stuff as they wont be on long...

If i get a OEM ballast (2nd hand), That just plugs into the light unit and the light loom just plugs into the ballast yeah?

Then after the ballast, The lamp twists into the igniter... then does the igniter twist and hold into the light unit? Or im felling there is either a metal clip or a twist clip that ive heard off that i will be missing?
