YELLOW relay

anyone got any idea what the yellow relay is in the engine bay fuse box? on 172

if there was a fault with this relay would it cause the engine to not start?

No

Try relay 3 or 4 (black ones)

what do those 2 do?
i have no wiring diagrams or anything, it's all just guess work at the moment!

3 I believe is ecu
And the the is fuel pump relay

o'rite , i had a little play around today and swapped all those relays about and it started first time, think i'm gunna ring about 2moro and get a new set of relays for it.

Have you heard of this wiring fault that normaly happends on top of the gear box?

i stripped all my wiring loom back and it seems okay, but i'm just wondering if anyone has had a wiring fault anywhere eles in the engine harness, that stops the engine running?

Gearbox earth, or passenger side arch to gearbox earth

Hi,
In my 172 ph2, the air conditioning and the fan don't work at any velocity, but the control module seems to be ok... simple don't come any out of the interior fan.
Could be that yellow relay?

Possibly or it could even be the fan motor itself but if you're having problems you really should start your own thread
