Just got back from Motorpoint in Derby!, WOW I am so so impressed with the car, I was also impressed with MP as they had a black scooby new WRX for 16k!

Anyway, Drove 200 miles back home to east London and I was really impressed with the drive, no back pains I felt fresh and still had that grin from the go-kart handling.

Also I had a right result, the car came with ESP and Cruise Control as well... I NEVER new they had that!.... So a great day all round!...

Ops... yep its was a 172... got it for £10,995 with mats and cargo net..FREE Cruise and ESP on it

I was going to wait for the 182, but I am not a lover of the rear on the 182 with the twin pipes.

I am more than happy with the 172 ...

I assume the blue one is yours, too shiny not to be really ! VERY nice colour, same colour as my 172 that I pick up on Monday !

Also, Cruise Control and ESP were both added to the 172 spec. last year so they are free on all new 172s since then.

It was a nice surprise to see the extras on there when you never expect them.

I know you are ment to "run them in" but I have been good and havent taken it over 5k revs... and the BMW 318i was a bit miffed when I flashed him to move at... err.. 70

I bought Blue on from Motorpoint of Derby back in March last year.

Mines just gone over 15k and is really starting to fly now. Ill be interested to see what I can pull on the 1/4 mile now.

Its lovely, I really love the Kick of the vvt you can really notice it (In my brothers 172)

As for motorpoint I am very impressed with the service and the price and the product!...

Oh and one final thing, the little buggers are pretty good on the petrol as well!

ffoc can i ask? how long did it take from goin down to the garage and driving away with the car? im tempted to do that tomorrow.was gonna get the 182,but cant be arsed waitin and 172 is £10,999 down at local motorpoint where i live (do you think i will get the alarm fitted for free with the price?) do you know what the apr is on the finance?)

Hello mate,

I had the car after 3 Days of picking up the phone and buying it!.

I was very impressed, and I like you didnt wait for the 182, I think I can live with out the extras the 182 has.

I think the finance works out at 12.9 thats around £253 per month with a £500 Deposit

They wont do the alarm I tried that, but then again I have a mate in the trade so theres no problem there.

IMO GO FOR IT!

You need to allow a further £600 on top of that price for admin, plates, registration and the alarm.

Well tomorrow I get my 172, not brand new, 02 reg but it only has 9700 miles on the clock, just means that someone else has run it in for me !



I cannot wait now, since I sold my 172 last year, which I had from new, I have missed it !

The smile factor is priceless !
