Well after 2 weeks Ive finally got my car back.
The head gasket went - fortunately it was under warrenty and the garage did it all without me having 2 pay.
Turns out the there was no thermostat fitted and the water pump was knackered which casued the head to blow. Theyve skimmed the head etc etc and now it should be ok for a few more miles - the grand total came 2 £1160!!!!!! If id had to pay id be fuming!
It came back this morning, all clean and shiny (with tracking fixed too). I was so happy 2 see it - its now sat on my drive growling to be taken out!!
