What another class day, chance for plenty of runs and got to experiment a bit cracked off a 14.9 very early, then a few runs around that mark, upped my launch to 4k then hovered around 14.9 5 times, then decided i could launch at 4.5k, just creeping into the on cam zone and wallah 14.75 and a couple of 14.800, took loads of scalps and took a few beatings too, think i surprised a few, including a 205 mi16????????? it was quick anyway, but not quite quick enough, il let everyone else post there own times but theres some rockets about this forum

didnt quite get the time i wanted ..but all seats +2 x babyseats +over 3/4 tank juice and a pair of extremely heavy rear discs in the boot n an ecu in the pass footwell +all the sh*t that has to go wherever the kids go lol

....................out of the 4 runs i got b4 the kids got bored and had to fuk off.......2 x 15.1, a 15.3 an a 15.4

You got to be impressed with that mate ( Craggy ). Think I will improve once I get my launches sorted. Couldnt stay as late as you guys to experiment as much in the end, had to get back.

Hats off to Timo in that Cup though. 14.3 is sh*t hot. Beat me fair and square, even if it was modded vs standard (non stripped). Like to of seen a few more cups there, would of liked a crack against a standard one.

sh*t hot day though. More than likely be at the next one.

Managed a 14.83 @ 95.47mph which I hope I can improve on when I get some more practice on my launching on the start line. Would of liked to stay later when you boys get a sh*t load more runs in. Only did 5 in the end. Didnt have much fuel left in the end

jon, you didnt stick around, you missed my best run of.....................14.404@96mph! absoloutely loving it considering it was my first time, and Adis......i think a few people will be a little shocked with his time!

managed a 14.6 on my first go, then 14.5 then LOADS of 14.6s, then near the end i got loads of 14.5s then 3 14.4s! eat my dust 172 owners!

well im quite impressed with my times

did a 14.4 straight off then did loads of 14.4s got a 15.0 missing third and a 14.6 when i got a sh!t start

right at the end had a few runs against tim0, did a 14.3 and finally a 14.25 @ 96.6 mph

had a quarter of a tank of juice and stripped out back seats, passenger seat, spare and sub box an amp

my old engine in clean16vs car didnt do to badly either

was a shame there wasnt more people flying the cup/172 flag only seen one black 172 that wernt doing to good

that saff cossie got left after i beat it think he was a bit gutted, shame i missed third against the red one would have been two cossie scalps hehe

OMG! Ive got an awesome video of that where Adi pulls away from the Cossie as they pass the camera guy! Inspiring stuff. (No software to get it on the PC, its JVC with PC link cables but dont know how to do it if any1 can help)

Good day and Mehdis Willy powered 16v was VERY impressive and sounds nice watching the vid of it running. I like the cliosport stickers on ur Saxo Craggy.

First time 1/4 miling with 1/2 a tank of petrol (quickly came down though), no rear seats, different tyre size which id only put on the day b4 so had to learn there grip while running. IK with home made heat shield & cold air feed with Scorpion cat back Xorst and ran;

15.561 @ 88.68MPH. - not bad for mods and didnt get the illusive perfect start but im chuffed! Running with a cold engine bay seemed to make a difference.

Yeh i was well gutted - my main pipe off the bottle blew off as i was about to go onto the track with a cupra - tryed to fix it but didnt have any luck. Its going in this week to have another bottle of nos fitted + a progressive controller - i am aiming for mid 13,s with it running right - we will find out on the 22 june - got a bad set off on my only run today - rear wheels spinnin as i set off - was expecting at least 14.0 with a liitle nos.

jonnyboy, vts has induction kit and de-cat, and no york dobnt have superglue, judging by the sh*t times the stock 172s gets, its just us yorkshire clio9sport guys know how to drive/mod hehe, mkeym the cliosport sticker is my personal touch lol, ud be surprised how many ppl comment in passing, there like what the fuk its a saxo hehe

Yeah was a great day out at york today

Best time of the day was 15.21 @ 92.1mph (very pleased)

Hopefully next time with a bit more practise and get the car properly stripped out i can maybe creep into the 14s

Many thanks to Jon for fitting me the chip, top job fella!! The car now pulls alot stronger through all the gears and the engine feels alot more responsive

got a best of 14.7 last time only had about 5 runs tho and i fitted a fan override switch on friday to try and keep the car cooler while waiting to run which seemed to work well

was sayin tim0 needs cams or summat he wont be far off 13s then ,im gonna need throttle bodies or summat to get into the 13s theres not a lot more i can do really, running 15s on the front with 195/45 tyres would be the only thing without spending lots of cash on more engine goodies

Mehdi & Adi; the multistorey seems to have better drag drivers. The majority of those Cossie drivers couldnt launch them at all!

Adi; the Saff seems to beat u off the line but u pull through where the camera was positioned to be in the lead!

Another fun day and it was nice and sunny for a change tho it looked a little dull at times... Some good runs by a few of you out there, was quite impressed by some of the valvers.

Managed to get a 15.4 in me standard MK1 172.. Where were the rest of u 172 owners eh?? Only saw another 172 cup and a V6 out there on monday when i went...

Gonna get a new zorst soon and after learning how to drive go for a sub 15, he he
