Young 172/182 Insurance

Any one about 18-20 with a 172 or 182, looking to get a phase 1 172 in july when my renewal comes about, but ive been getting quotes 1700 for fully comp on my own.

im 20 with 3 yrs driving, 1yncb and 2 yrs named driver no claims.

what companies shall i look at..

direct line. im 21 with 172 and its £950, thats with no no claims too first year on my own policy too

im with admiral. Im 22 with no no-claims as i drive a company car (dont usually get a no claims bonus with company cars) and i got my insurance for my 182 for £760 fully comp, 10 month bonus accelerator. Hold out till you turn 21 cos your insurance goes down a bit.

tried admiral, who im with at the moment and tried bell.

they were both 200 quid cheaper than that, but thats that 10 month bonus accelerater, but im wanting a 12 month contract.

i got insured on the cup when i was 20 with elephant for 1300 tht was with 2yr ncb then when i turned 21 i switched to tesco which is 770 with 2yr ncb

most insurers i got to ring up, just tried tesco and direct line !

2.0 L at 20 is understandable to ring up.

Adrian Flux all the way, I had mine at 19 with 2ncb and payed £1700. Will probably be going with them again this year.

I had my 182 when I was 19 and I paid about 1800 was with elephant i think.

I was 20 when I bought the Clio 182 and could've Piad £1400 for Fully Comp if I had the cash BUT I paid £1700 paying monthly, Ph1 should be cheaper as the car is less expensive in the 1st place

ull be fine fella, try quinn direct (dunno if its been said cause couldnt b arsd readin em all lol). at 20 with a years ncb and 2 years as a named driver u shouldnt have a problem tbh

Im 20, got 3 yrars NCB. and 3 points form a SP 50.

I m paying 1460 with bell, but this does include legal cover, ability to driver other cars on a 3rd party basis and also i raised therepay out if injury is caused.

20/21 is when insurance prices really go down.

Looking at ph 172's, was quoted £1500 by Bell Insurance.

Admiral/Elephant are usually cheap if you can afford to pay in one go, installments become expensive though.

I got the Trophy when I was 21, paid 860 with admiral

yesinsurance.co.uk is realy good i pay £707fully comp on my cup im 22 with 3 years no claims and 6 shiny points

2.6k a year ent worth it mate get a 1.6 or something for a couple of years. when i was 18 i got a 106 xsi. only a 1.4 but great little car, then after a year or so i swapped it in for 306 rallye - beast of a car and £1600 fully comp.

Try adding your mum onto the insurance as that normally drops it by a few hundred quid!!!!

adding my mum dropped it by 1.3k and adding my gran dropped it by another 800 quid lol! still leaves me at 2.5k though
