Your views on Magnex twin 3.5 for 172

Hi all, thinking of getting Magnex twin 3.5" back box for my 172 mk2.

Please could you tell me what you think about them,

any good? sound nice? look nice? ect. ....

K-tec IMO, sounded mint on Big Iains 172!

One of the better options for the 172 is the twin 3.5, looks good hanging out the back, noise isnt over bareing either!

Cos I had one on my 172 and it was class.

Magnex are over rated IMO and sound too ghey - mongoose look and sound better.

I had one on my 172 Josh, I was really pleased with it once Id got it seated properly. It took Demon Tweeks a couple of attempts to get it right.

It did start to get a bit loud in the end though, or that could have been a hangover.

Yeah, that was a full system from the cat. Think I paid around £330 from Demon Tweeks.

i had the magnex oval on my mk 1 172, was gonna go for the full system but i was pleased i only got the back box, it was loud enough!!!!

quality etc was excellent!!

i got a magnex on my 1.2 dynamique. got it off hass car full cat back sounds mint and looks ace aswell. if you get magnex you wont be dissappointed.

i love hearin it you sit next to other cars like "im just a normal bloke drivin a little clio" then ya boot it and its does sound awsom and even better still wen the induction kit starts to roar aswell

Ive had no problems with my Magnex, Im happy with it and its way better than the standard system....

I have got the Magnex on my Cup just now. It looks and sounds great. Its not too loud when you are taking it easy, but gets a bit louder when it matters Needs fitting and adjusting a couple of time to get it sitting right.

I had the k-tec racing one before the magnex. Quality on the k-tec was sh1te IMO, the Magnex is ten times the quality. K-tec sounded the berries, a wee bit too loud for neighbourhoods mind!

I dont know much about the mongoose.

I went for the mongoos twin 3.5"

Love the mongoose but think the tailpipes are a bit ott for my liking... If you like the twin 3.5 then I deffinately would have another
