Yozzasport 182 decat system

Just a request for some opinions on those who own(ed) or have had dealings with the 182 YS decat system, reason being I want to find out how loud the thing is.

I had my 172 fitted with a CCR custom jobbie when my OE box fell off, but in honesty as soon as the honeymoon was over, it did my fking nut in whilst cruising on the motorway at times.

It's the same as everybody else asks for, but I want an exhaust to sound like it means business, but mainly when booting it. At 70/80mph if someone could advise me how it sounds that would be great.

I'm well aware and fully expect it to be louder, but I just don't want to have to wear ear plugs/deafen myself to avoid listening to a BRRRRRRRRRRRRR on the m'way.

Having ridden a bike for the last 6 months I'm not shy on noise, but there's a time and a place.

So opinions please?

Don't get a YS system then. And definitely not a decatted one. lol.

Trouble is the only real way of telling is to go out in a car with one on.

One mans quiet is another mans loud if you see what I mean.

Yeah indeed, I'm no old man but a droning exhaust on a long hop can be pretty tiresome. But cross-country and variable revs they've more involving than an OE system.

Reason I'm asking is someone on here is proposing a YS decat system in a swop for my OE system minus the cat (as they don't need the at) plus £200 and not too sure whether to just decat the OE system, or whether to go the whole hog on a decatted YS system.

I have a YS decat fitted to my milltek catback system and it sounds great, certainly noticeable as you drive and superb when you floor it.
But bare in mind the milltek is a fairly quiet system so I imagine with a YS exhaust system it'd be bleedin' loud.

I have it and i think it sounds wicked but you really need to hear it for yourself, don't get it based on peoples opinions.

Personally I'd go for a Milltek cat back and retain the standard cat or sports cat.

Decats are alot noisier than standard.

Well the Cat isn't too pivotal tbh, I can sell the decat if need be. 2bhp isn't important too me if noise becomes an issue.

i do alot of motorway miles a week and the ys sport sytem is not too loud, when it blows its loud but its a nice raspy sytem

So it's fairly easy to live with then Riz on the motorway? Used to hate my old custom exhaust at between 2.5k and 4k used to just BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR boom.

yeah motorway is fine it doesnt drone at all at low revs it is a tad boomy in car parks etc but mine is blowing at the moment so hard to give it a full assessment
