Yozzasport Exhaust Fitted :)

In the scheme of things its not a lot to pay, compared to say Blue Flame, Powerflow etc etc it's almost double the price. I only asked why and get flamed for it though... amazing that someone else can ask the same things and just get ignored instead of having to don their fire proof suit lol. Should I report this as bullying? lol

I took these this afternoon with my 3.2 Megapixel Camera phone.

If anyone wants to come down just to take a look at them, they are more than welcome.

Our systems are made in England and are made to the highest standard - hence why the chap who started this thread was happy with the two year old development system that he purchased from ebay... There aren't many systems that are as good as new when they are two years old.

:approve: Good work Yoz and Fred! Personally I cant wait til I can phone you again either tommorrow or next week and arrange to come up for one to be fitted! Ive liked what ive seen anyhow!

Well from personal experience with Fred and Yoz, meeting them, chatting to them and visiting there workshop; I can safely say that NO ONE else will be touching my Clio.

They are honest and in my opinion offer good value, good products and good advice, which im sure others here that have used them will agree.

as of there exhaust system.... Its a great product, I love mine, when you do see it next to a blueflame you can EASILY see the quality difference in fit, design and BUILD! Yes the blueflame maybe decent value at £270 (ish), BUT its the choice YOU make when buying such products.

Now Yozza has just sold that development system after 2 years of driving, no doubt some of it quite hard! after all it was the "development" system, and the new owner is very happy and the exhaust is still going VERY strong!! what more proof of value for money do you really need?!

In My opinion Fred or Yoz don't need to justify there exhaust, Price or build. Thats been proven on the road and track! Its proved itself.

Its all about choice ladies and gentlemen.

Just my two pennies.

Nice exhaust but lots of nasty looking welds. Probably good welds, but I just hate seeing welds. :)

What's the cost price?

Exactly. Imo there is so much stirring in this thread its laughable. Nothing better to do. I've met both yoz and fred and they are VERY helpfull, if i needed any engine tuning i'd be going there. .......awaits Thejesus and his shadow 'i have no opinions of my own Taylor' to come and flame me, as they bleed GDI........ ;)

Now this is what you should be getting for around the £500 mark, check the quality of manufacture out on this! Sorry for the thread hijack!

And something else that no one else seems to offer, a before and after power graph, you can really notice the increase in the midrange.

The results were taken from an entirely standard car.

The prototype thats shown has a resonator in place of the cat, this wasn't carried through to production due the high cost of this section.

No problems Joe, i love your exhaust, but its just not loud enough for me

as a qaulified welder i do give "the nod" (honnestly, not taking the piss) to the BTB, its a MOTORSPORT product from a well respected exhaust manufactuer (and also to Joe, he's got engineering qualifications and knows his arse from his elbow)

IMO every exhaust should be TIG welded, back purged etc etc etc, but hey i'm a fabrication snob, i hate mass produced exhausts, thats just me and we carry that attitude onto our product

If you don't like something you won't buy it, simple as that

Thank God for Jesus!!!

As for me, I'm holding out for the BenR. My Cup will get the most high tec/expensive one.

those are nice welds....:)

The perfect exhaust is the one that has welds only between the pipes and the silencers connections, and nowhere else.:)

Without welds you get the optimal flow without any turbulence.;)

Sounds logical to me. Is it only the Orbisoud that is like that?

orbisoud joints and welds are ironically not that neat, especially around their 'on the piss' cat element.

You could weld all the way down the exhaust system with 30 joints, if its back purged then you wont have any problems with turbulence and powerloss.

Absorbtion type silencers with perforated innards are far more likely to cause a power loss than a weld.

Back purging is only to prevent oxidisation. You need root penetration for strength/integrity.

yes, and with oxidation you get impurities and surface irregularities

aup every1 just read the thread lol iv had the yozza system on my car for about 6months now and its awersome sounds mint as for price i got a qoute from powerflow and they wanted 400 quid plus vat and iv had dealings with them b4 (not good) so i payed an extra 100 quid and went to yozza very freindly lads and lets face it they know there stuff,

i am a qualified welder/fabricator i weld and fabricate stainless steel all day every day,and have welded duplex stainless/aluminum all lloyds registered. not the same as an exhaust but i am sure to a very good standard.back purging should be standard on s/s with full pen for the smooth exhaust flow. the less steps and bends the smoother the flow. the orbisoud system is favoured by me. i am not keen on the pipe orientation on the yozza system.
this is only my opinion.
please dont shot me.

good thread, with some good questions asked.

Alot of people on here take what a few say as gospel, whether thier advice be right or wrong.

the more people question, the more we ALL learn.

im certainly no fabicator or welder but i think alot of people are missing the point here!!

the main tuners sell products claiming thet they are the best/have the best product but at the end of the day it comes down to you pays your money and you takes your choice!!
i would also comment on the fact that some people have had a dig at the price tags of £500 for an exhaust and wanting the "best for there car" but arnt willing to do the homework and spend £100 on fuel to look at what everyone has to offer and meeting the vendors/product face to face, only then can anyone comment of workmanship vs price vs location and which one is better for there needs/budget/convenicence etc etc

Used to be a pipe welder myself frizz, so I'm sure your standard is better than for an exhaust.

Bet none of Fred's welds ever get ''bombed''
