Well it's been almost a month since CSS15 and believe it or not, planning for CSS16 is already almost upon us.

Please use this thread to offer us any contructuve feedback on this years event.

Things we did well, things we could improve for next year.

Go!

I can't believe it's been a month. It was the highlight of my year lol.

I'm not sure the fairground rides were worth it, not sure why but nobody seemed to want to use them... My excuse was it was damp on the evening and I wasn't too arsed during the day.

But if you do pretty much exactly the same, fires and all... Especially the fires tbh, you'll be onto a winner.

Next year at oulton plsthnxbai.

Could also set up a thread to help choose the lucky girls?

I can honestly say it was an epic weekend. Good people, good banter, lots if beer and meat, a track day... What more could we ask for??

Loved the marquee , live band, go karts. Would have been really good to pay £10 for a few passenger track laps in something crazy quick like an atom500.

Exactly the same for next year don't change a thing, but maybe some fairground things like a coconut shy, rifle range, rubber duck fishing etc, something that doesn't involve being span around while drunk or with a hangover, also maybe some classic arcade games like After Burner, Sega Rally, Time Crisis etc and a few of pinball machines, air hockey tables maybe even the odd pool table. (just an idea)

But tbh as long as there's track action, free food in the evening and a bloody big beer tent with a decent band i'm happy.

Yeah we had already had a discussion re the fairground ride and we're already trying to come up with an alternative.

I doubt we will have a burger van tbh.

The drunken cooking of burgers and Bratwurst in the wee hours of the morning made for quite possibly the best part of the weekend? @DaveDreads @Daniel @Pacman. @Knuckles

Possibly the best ending to the best night ever.

I didn't think that on the Sunday morning though.

I think a reserve stash of food is needed too for dan at 3am

Everything from last year's css regarding things to do (zorbs, quaser, climbing frame, segways, etc) and track time and the evening/night time from this year's css.

No pikeys. Better weather. Less loud snorers ( @JP83 @rctempire ;))

Further south

Thb your never going to please everyone but this year's was pretty good for everybody being cetral, considering it only happens once a year. I'm happy to travel as its always good to meet people and socialise with everyone from here, not just regional/local members.

I know it's out of your hands but I'd of liked to have had a few traders there.

What's the crack with alternative track venues? Do they all offer this same kind of thing?

Well I have to say it was my first time at CSS and I only visited for the day, I loved every minute of it, I was on my own but everyone was very friendly and talked to me and I loved watching the track time. I will be back next year as will be my friend and we will both be bringing our track cars for some fun

They've said were allowed to Invite traders We think will benefit the Forum too

I'll be getting in touch with a couple

...and I think if we all request oulton, they'll make it happen.

But the admin had to buy javelins track day from them exclusively for us, which I thought was a brilliant gesture from them!

We invited every single one of our traders to attend and although none of them took us up on the invite nearly all of them provided us with pretty amazing raffle prizes (there was probably over a grands worth of prizes I would guestimate)

Hopefully next year we can get some of them to attend so you can all spend some of your hard earned cash with them.

With regards to alternative venues it's difficult. Getting a venue like Blyton that are willing to give us pretty much a free run of their site is next to impossible.

I can't see us moving venues next year to be honest as we now have a fantastic working relationship with the owners of Blyton and also with Javelin.

I'd be more than happy to return there if that's the plan!

More Clio people need to bring more Clio car spares with them next time for when Scottish people inevitably break down and need to buy/borrow parts to get home 😂😂😂

On a serious note though, no complaints here. The day and night were awesome. A band again next year is a must!

Well if said Scottish people didn't ride the curbs so hard they ended up on two wheels like the Dukes of Hazzard, they wouldn't have bent their subframe causing the driveshafts to pop out, it was brilliant to watch though.

We will do everything in our power to get the same band for next year

Flol! I never managed to witness this, was always out on track at the time. My MOT today revealed I knackered a ball joint from riding said curbs too though. We'll never learn.

My subframe is fine, I just lost a shaft. All back together now though. But yes bring spares for us idiots that's don't [emoji23]

I really enjoyed it, glad I made the last minute decision to come and was able to get track time. Was surprised at how many people knew who I was and especially the car for its famous 2 wheels action.

The fair ground ride seemed a waste, but the tent and bbq at night was a great success. Definitely do that again!
