Couple of vids from Brands Indy yesterday...

It was a smashing day, even though the track was greasy as fook, and my rear tyres were freezing cold at all times.

I didn't do any filming in the morning, it was like driving on ice. 😂

@Philip. when you coming south for a trackday?

We'll see

Looks good though mate. I'm just in love with driving mine, the baffle is going back in on the exhaust though, lol!

@adalis is your teg undersealed dude?
Just looking at options for the underneath and arches, or whether to just let someone else do it. Looks messy and time consuming considering it's my daily.

Looks good and clean @adalis ! Had a peep up behind mine and it looks clean too. Got no rust anywhere but it's only done 68k on Japanese roads so far.
Are your arches white or been painted black with underseal?

Really don't know if I can be assed doing it myself!

Yeah I don't do anything myself anymore, rather just have it done properly. Actually don't know the state of my wheel arches, haven't had my own wheels off yet. 😂

It's not to bad mate but I did mine in my father in laws double garage where he has an air compressor.

The main reason I did mine is because I wanted to spend the time masking the car up, didn't want my suspension and other bits covered in the stuff. [emoji2]

My problem is it's my daily and I only have the drive to do it on!
I'll make a couple of calls to body shops etc this week and see if they do it. Shouldn't be any more than a couple hundred quid I assume?

Wish I had the compressor and the indoor space to do it myself, doesn't look too bad.
Can that be brushed on?

@adamlstr What exhaust do you have darling, and how is it?

Debating what to do with mine as it has seen better days (too loud with bung out 😂).

That's actually a weakness of mine tbh, it's a DC sports centre section and powerflow :)confounded:) rear box. The previous owner fitted the rear box when the DC sports one failed. It's loud and obnoxious too, as there's only a tiny silencer at the back, and nothing in the middle.

RM01A one day me thinks.

Yeah my Kakimoto is too loud, thank f**k I have the bung! Makes it look rubbish though. :(

I had my middle box replaced because the baffles had gone, but the Kakimoto backbox is just a can with no deadening in or anything.
Debating a new system (maybe DC Sports cat back) or importing one like I did with the s15.

Other option is to go to cybox for a backbox who did a great job on my middle box and some of the pipe (cheapest option by f**king miles).

Yeah, same quandary here. I might just get a beefier silencer put in the rear section and make do until I bite the bullet for a proper system.

I might just get a custom backbox made tbh. Go for a Toda/Fujitsubo rep without the burnt edges or something.
Will only cost me about £100.

Want to sort the ride height out as well, so not spending £700 on a system just yet.

Tyres arrive Weds, looking forward to the weekend. Then out at Bedford on Monday. :)

So a colleague of mine said he fancied doing Bedford GT in his Cayman. Not being one to miss track time I booked up.

It lashed it down all morning, which was a bit of a giggle. Then it was bone dry for the last 3 hours.

Decent slide here:

Sadly, the audio only kicks in at 15 minutes. But, I had an external microphone hooked up. :smilingimp: The last 5 or so minutes are probably my quickest. Managed a sub 3minute lap of the GT circuit, which didn't seem too bad for 200ish BHP and all those straights.

New wheels are sat waiting for tyres now, and I had an SHG rack slider fitted last week which made a massive difference and totally eliminated the dead zone in the steering.
