Same as the last one. Don't care what it does (and ring times have got a bit pointless), it just looks a bit stupid. Aesthetics don't bother me a great deal, but I'd feel a total weapon in one of those.

Im a big type R fan but im not sure where their going with this, the latest/last version only seams to have been out ten minutes and I was just getting used to the over bearing looks of that.

They've absolutely plummeted in value also!

New platform. 70% stiffer chassis than the outgoing platform which was around since 07 essentially. The new car will be a good one. Even the standard cars will be good.

Sadly no one is going near a fwd car like that when you have the golf r and FRS out there.

Ah that's good. They did release the type r very late into that model.

I must concur. The kids who want it won't be able to afford it and the people who can afford it will be too old for 'hardcore' fwd hatchbacks.

I feel scene for just saying hardcore. I don't like it

Give it a few years & they (FK2) will be the most sort after Uk type r.
Limited numbers due to late introduction, much much better than the FN2 it replaced.

Would love a grey one!

I like it. Yes it isn't "pretty" as such, but it's brash and doesn't do anything other than scream about how hardcore it is. While everyone else is trying to be mature and generate mass appeal, Honda are sticking two fingers up and creating genuinely silly and interesting cars. I applaud them for that. I didn't like the FK2 when it came out, but I find myself craving one more and more.

The back end looks horrific, probably better in grey or black. It definitely not hiding its purpose in life.
On the other hand I read that renault are going for a more discreet look with the next megane rs.

I think Honda have thought outside the box with the FK2 personally.

like the new one. Guy in work has a 16 plate type r. It looks gash on screen but wicked in the flesh.
got it in white too, just looks bonkers. On the other hand spotted a new focus RS and other than the rear spoiler it doesn't look much different when driving along to an ST.
I like the bonkers angles on the type r, stands out. The fn2 was just odd looking.

The irony is that on the 200mph supercar they're smaller (by the looks of it), and more hidden.
