So I bought a ds pro machine polisher to bring the paintwork up to my standards. Fully clayed the car first and used a merzenza cutting polish first, that was couple of weeks ago and today I finally got round to doing the whole car again with the 2ND stage finishing polish. It's came up great really happy with the results. I need to get some decent pics though. Next up is a desperately needed wheel refurb.

For now. One day when funds allow I'll have a white s203. Hopefully before values go mental. Loving the cup though. Such a great little fun car to drive, just as I remembered it from 2002.

I think about this car ALL the time. I miss it so much.
It is without doubt the only car I regret selling.

Really glad it’s back in good hands, seems you’re taking care and doing much the same as I would

I want another but I know how much I’d have to spend to get it to drive like that one again

cheers mate. its a great little car, always puts a smile on my face when I jump in it and drive it. it drives really well and still feels really tight (down to the suspension work you did) once I get the wheels refurbished I want to get a couple of little dings taken out and then get the calipers painted to freshen them up. im putting it away for the winter in my parents garage then bring it out once the weather gets better and enjoy it. next year id like pms top mounts and strut brace, rear anti roll bar and maybe look into getting the rest of the suspension poly bushed.

im just glad I finally managed to get hold of a nice cup after wanting another one for years and they are getting rarer now.

Update. Car wouldn't start one cold night about 3 weeks ago and it turned out was just the battery. It sat unused for 3 weeks on the street as it was Xmas and new year and wasn't a priority. Finally got it jump started today and took it a long drive so will see how the battery holds out think I'll get a new one. It was filthy so gave a good scrub and tucked it away in my parents garage where it will spend winter . Next up wheel refurb .few pics

So I went up on Friday to take the cup out the garage and no surprise it wouldn't start. Battery again. Went to halfords today and bought a new one and fitted it this afternoon. Started first time. Went for a drive then tucked it back in the garage. Booking it in tomorrow for the much needed wheel refurb, should make a massive improvement. Im also ordering new centre caps for the turinis to compliment the wheels once done. Will get pics up of wheels before and after. Cheers. Jamie
