Washers are only a requirement over a certain light output. I forget what the limit is.

Piece of s**t now has 2 functioning lights (for now)

The drivers side one seemed to be the wrong bulb, which wasn't the issue (wasn't blown up either). Looks like the connector on the back had just come marginally loose so wasn't firing.

The one in there was a D2S, but there's a D2R in the passenger side.. so I swapped the D2S for a new D2R and the light pattern now matches both sides.. probably been blinding people a bit.

Car is f**king cursed, though.

That whole design is absolutely awful. It's worse than 172 levels of inaccessibility to lights. The passenger side one to get decent access you need to take part of the intake out!

Once again, don't buy these cars. Although do buy mine, I need something I can actually work on

The accessibility is why mine has 1 silvervision ? the pass side one was going to require removal of things so I never bothered!
I think the sidelights on that side are OK, you'd just need to remove the battery. Main light though can eat a big bag of dicks

Easily my worst purchase in a while, even worse than the Golf ?

Had this like.. 14 months so far, about the same amount of time as the M3. Golf lasted about 14 months too

I never needed to remove anything to replace the bulbs, was a bit of a fiddle but manageable.

On the passenger side? Have you got doll hands?

I removed the battery even just for the driver's side one because if it's not in the car I can't be electrocuted ?

Lol, must do. I don’t remember it being a massive effort, but I’ve got the HKS so not sure if that frees some room up?

Had this piece of s**t 18 months now. MOT in June.. probably won't need anything (maybe an advisory on brakes)

Not even done 6000 miles in it yet

AC still doesn't work because I have no interest in fixing it, so this car will not get used at all in the summer. Will be sold once my house move is done.

Form a queue.

The replies on the first page sum up everything lol.

‘Prepare for problems’ etc

I really like them though

My air con doesn't work either and a quck search shows its a common problem. I also have no interest in getting it fixed.
I think ive had the car 10 yrs this year and its been the most reliable car ive ever owned.

Don't think any hondas will have mint paint on them unless they've been garage queens from day 1.

It is only natural that this failed it's MOT today

Headlight not aligned (it was the HID I'd touched and I'd managed to put the holder in the wrong way round) - fixed now
One of the rear side lights (there are 2 each side) was out.. so that was a fail
Tyre valve on the NSF had perished to the point where the tester wasn't happy with it. The guys that replaced those tyres not that long ago seem to have reused the valves. That's fixed

One advisory for an exhaust blowing, have had the tyre/exhaust people look at it and they can't spot what exactly is wrong only a rough location.. so that'll need the system dismantling to find that. It's going to be sold soon anyway so I may just not bother. Everyone loves a louder exhaust.

Didn't fail on brakes or emissions though.

So all of that bar the exhaust is fixed and its booked in for its retest in about an hour. Then it's time to make it look presentable and get rid!

Not even going to put a for sale thread on CS ?
