Nice video mate. I enjoyed Blyton when I rallied there this year. It really suits a clio.
Sam Bennet must of been driving well to get that time. He did the rally with me and he was something like 40 seconds behind overall.

September 2019 (yes fully aware it October and i havent lost a month lol)
biggest update is that i have finally finished my manifold!! i know its not a work of art. considering it's my first ever manifold. I think I have done well enough.
built using schedule 10 elbows and pipe. tig welded. (yes I know crappy in places. i am only learning) and back purged.
i have dropped it of a few days ago at ceramic coaters. will look 10 times better when it's back.
and here is a part1 video of the process. Yes, i am really pushing my Youtube venture now. Show your support by watching a few videos and dont forget to subscribe and/or leave a comment. liking a video goes a long way as well.
another update is that my engine is almost done and should be here in October. plan is to build this all up over winter months.

FCP H-beam
king Race bearings
ARP, studs etc
Supertech, valves
Catcams springs
197 new machined crank
ported polished head.
everything else new.
+ custom inlet
+custom manifold
+G25-550
etc etc.
should be good fun!

Back from Ceramic coat. Looks better than I expected.
Done both wastegate and turbo at same time. Glacier Titanium. 1049deg temp rating.

Not as much as I would like to be honest. It’s slow process building an audience. This one so far +18. It’s a snowball effect. The more subs you have the more you get from each new video.. I am still developing my style, learning to edit, film etc etc. Even tho my day job is photography and filming for clients sometimes, this is a bit different. I love it tho! Keeps me occupied. I need to be busy 24/7 otherwise I do stupid s**t lol

I posted a Vanlife roadtrip video on my channel and expected it to do pretty well, it was no different (if anything, better) to some other videos with crazy amounts more hits, but I think I screwed up as it has popular music on it... oh well not to bothered. Um, yeah of course I have....

Last Track day 2019 and of course it had to rain. We got the most out of it with plenty of spins, unplanned drifts and surprisingly no big offs. Wet track day can be just as fun as a good dry sunny day. you have to learn how to control your vehicle at high speed if the rear steps out (oversteer) or what to do when it understeers. there are always lessons to be learned when doing a track day in the rain. in this video, i try to give some wet track day tips but apart from "trying to find a wet line" you won't hear much. I was too busy having fun. .

Wouldn't it be easier/cheaper to put in a 20VT engine along with the 02M?

1) Cheaper LSD
2) Can handle more than 13bhp without blowing up

Well, the adapter plate and modified flywheel from EFI are more than the price difference between the LSD's.
For handling the power, offcourse, it makes sense. But so does using a 20VT for big power instead of an F4R I suppose?
20VT will do up to 300 on standard rods but you have to then design and engineer the OSF mounting.
02M is a tried and tested upgrade whereas it's mainly been backyard mechanics that have dropped a 20VT into a Clio and most conversions look like they leave a lot to be desired
Plus @pule333 has already got a forged engine and everything else so it would be taking a step backwards dropping the VAG lump in

I got a good deal on complete conversion kit. Inc drive shafts, clutch, fly, box, adapter.. so was rude not to.

So much better all round! The Clio gearbox is absolute garbage, I look forward to seeing this at CSF next year

Mine had a JC5087 before and that blew up the 2nd and 3rd synchro
Now it's got a 130 and 3rd and 4th crunch but to the point where it still goes into gear
