Has anyone tried this by chance. We've got a couple of cars in work that are beyond what I have.

Was going to buy solution finish but this gets a decent mention

The adam range in tesco doesnt seem to be like the american ones

The wheel and tyre cleaner doesnt clean the tyres like the american one, i ended up using rebound on them after to get the existing trim dressing off

The detailing spray does feel slick like other qd's and doesnt make the paint shine like others

The tyre dressing is made from silicone and leaves the rubber very patchy

The shampoo is alright, thats the only good one

Not sure if its been mentioned but has on Detailing World. Tesco are doing the Adams range of products, example their Blue shampoo which is my go to for no water spotting (or very little) is there at £9, with a clubcard £6.

I need fuel and normally use Shell, but tomorrow its Tesco lol.....

Wow! That is a great tip, that's by far my favorite shampoo but it's hard to get online especially if you're after the big containers. Tesco for £6 is a no brainer.

Off to Tesco to clear out the shelves 😂

Id personally buy from Prestige car care which are thr distributer for Adams in the UK.

I know the one from Tesco is a bit cheaper but may not be the same.

Prestige offer free post now and again.

True, usually not efficient for a single item with the postage.

Sorted for a bit now though and going to need it as well 😂

I need to order some stuff for the golf. I've got a DA, which has 3" and 5" plates. I've got a box of pads off Amazon with varying cuts

They are probably shite, I can't actually remember ever using them properly. I've got some super resin, which I know is just full of fillers and is for last stage if anything, along with some of this crap

shopping

So, I need to order some cutting compound. I did have some G3 years ago, but god knows where that is. I was thinking of ordering the Merzena 3 stage kit

and I remember seeing the Meguires glaze for finishing off

shopping

I've looked on Slim's Detailing this morning, but there's soooooo much choice.

It's been a while since I've last polished a car but I believe the main difference is Menzerna uses diminishing abrasives vs Meguiars which uses non diminishing abrasives. Meaning the Menzerna abrasives will break down during polishing and initially cut more, then finish finer.

I always liked Menzerna, also had good results with Scholl and Rupes polishes. Got the 105/205 from meguiars as well but never used them much so can't comment on them.

Buy dodo juice lime prime for polishing, use a white Rupes 5" pad.

For cutting grab koch h9, use with either an orange or yellow chemical guys pad.

For a finish grab some natty blue or Red wax.

Before all this remember to decon the paint

Autoglym Intensive tar remover is decent.

Fallout remover, Bilt hamber.

This imo all you need.

Do you clay it all first?
