The SSD is a good point, be interesting to see how far the technology has jumped in decreasing load times in GTA.

The other points are a bit redundant, haptic feedback and controller audio are beyond woeful anyway.

Oh and meanwhile in the states (and probably over here too, haven’t checked). Xbox prices are being raised too as of 1st August.

I dunno I really like the Dual Sense controller, more so than Xbox.

They are talking about haptic feedback & controller audio and using it as leverage on the Xbox. Both features are utter gash imo. I thought everyone turned the haptic feedback off anyway to save battery and the controller audio is laughably tinny.

What are the reasons people are going Pro for GTA? I feel like I missed something. I have a regular PS5 slim I was planning to play it on.

Are people going regular or ultimate?

PS5 pro is has better graphics and speed and i think other features like Ray Tracing etc, so i imagine GTA6 will look ALOT better on it.

I thought the PS5 had a spare slot to put in a second hard drive? So not much of a bind.

Bit annoying no disc version as i’m a dinosaur and prefer a physical copy. Will mean i need to buy a second HD for it but it is what it is!

As someone who's PC gaming dates back to the early 1990s - I agree with the physical content being a nice thing to have. Manuals, novellas, overlays, maps - all added to the experience.

That said, I have not had an optical drive in my previous three PC builds. And on the extremely rare occasion that I've needed to read a DVD or similar, I've got a USB DVD drive here to plug in.

Come to think about it, I haven't even had 2.5" SSD drives in the last two builds. Instead - NVMe M.2 SSD's drives all neatly hidden away under blanking plates on the motherboard itself.

Ultimate is a no brainer really for the sake of a tenner or so depending on how you buy it. They have locked a few things out of the normal copy. Like car customising and other things I believe.

I watched the video posted earlier and it wasn't clear if you just get an extra car modding shop to use or if it's all excluded without ultimate.

You seem to get more cars, weapons and modding, which open up throughout the story line.

For me I’ve eagerly waited long enough to get the best version.

It'll be around for a long time and it's somewhat cheap considering. Ultimate all day long.
