GTA 6

Emulated copy before official PC release?

Still fully expecting a delay but hopefully not. People are slating those videos already, I think they’ve forgotten how bad GTA 5 looked when it first released, compared to now. I think it’ll be the same case with 6. Looks alright to me 🤷🏻‍♂️

That looks really good if it's real!

I'm surprised more s**t hasn't come out by employees or ex employees more so.

I'd love to know what their strategy is for keeping everything hush hush and quiet with zero leaks.
No phones in the office? Intranet with no outside comms? There has to be something like that surely.

The threat of a leak being traced back to an individual(s) is more than enough for the dev team to keep their mouths shut (more often than not). They are under some serious pressure. And many already wondering what comes after GTA6 - there is a fear of sizeable layoffs and my friends there are very worried to say the least.

Can you explain it a bit more in depth and how it's done please? You're the best person in the know and I'm genuinely intrigued

i would imagine a cheeky little leak here and there will not do any harm, in fact it will probably just feed people's hunger, game looks epic but i will resist the urge to buy until it runs well.

I think he wants to know what security measures are in place to prevent leaks?

Ah, ok - I'll get back to you later on this. It will be quite a lengthy post and - probably - not very interesting. :ROFLMAO:

That Cyberleek fella seems to have managed to acquire the full playable game, an “influencer” offered him $350k for a copy of it.

I’m still intrigued how a fully playable version has been managed to be leaked. It’s not even a 2023 version of it as it seems that some of the music played in it only came out in 2025 meaning it’s pretty damn recent.

Looking forward to @SharkyUK insight into it all.

Would it be that much of a stretch to think its rockstar themselves?

Peaks interest, gets everyone talking, shows absolutely nothing of real value.

Unless @SharkyUK is Cyberleek 👀

I have an alibi! 🫣

It isn't Rockstar, they have gone to extreme lengths to prevent leaks. Dev teams on AAA titles are huge these days, and many are run "need to know". You basically work on your part of the game and that is it, with only the very senior positions having a fuller picture of the entire game, the storyline, the missions, etc. It is not unusual that someone working on the 3D rendering has absolutely no idea what the storyline is. We are talking BIG money here. For the owners and publishers.

A Rockstar India employee got phished apparently 😂

Which if true is hilarious as that is the hub for the majority of scams lol
