I rate mine but I never had a base ps5 so can't compare in the slightest. Which I guess makes my opinion null and void

Hun if I spent nearly a grand on a console that's being replaced by the ps6 next year I'd also be rating it

It looks incredible. The level of detail is amazing. I love a lot of the elements they've brought across from RDR2 like the honour system and the options for interacting with NPCs and the environment. The new side games like improved racing

I too will need to buy a new console - either a Series X or S. I didn't realise how much they've gone up by in the last few months. However, I never play my Xbox anymore, so justifying £700 for a new console for one game is really difficult. But if I go for a Series S am I going to miss out on the full experience due to the lesser graphics and processing power compared to the Series X?

The other issue is now having a child my time to play has greatly reduced. But this is probably the last game I'm ever going to buy, and one I've been waiting forever for, so do I just bite the bullet?

Why couldn't have this come out 5 years ago when I was single and lived alone?!

saw the new video footage, yeah agree on the guy's voice does sound different. the game itself looks amazing and can't wait to explore and do all the challenges and missions and like on gta5 the ufo parts wonder what 6 has got in store for us

I felt the opposite. I thought it looked totally overwhelming with the amount there was that could be done and the size of the map etc.

The graphics are amazing, of course they are. But it all feels a bit, idk, fake? Take for example the police chase;


Feels more like a series of quicktime events and pre-scripted cars popping in every 10 seconds/rolling over because you shot a tyre (?) and all just a bit artificial.

Opening scene of the trailer where they were going through that junkie office block? Half of me felt dirty, half of me felt that it was a bit unbelievable that there's just this entire office block full of crackheads making drugs.

It didn't make me go 'wow, I want to dive into this world'

Jokes aside, of course missions will run on some form of a script? Police cars would've appeared in 5 at various points too.

Granted the tyres popping and them flipping over was a bit much, I wouldn't be that good of a shot for a start!

I thought the exact same with the police chase where he was popping tyres. It felt like a cgi animation rather than a game.

Whether it's just that good maybe? Would love to see a second play through of that bit.

It's looks awesome. But yeah, last time a GTA came out I had a choice of PS3/Xbox 360 sat there ready. Not got a current gen console and don't particularly want one either.

I've text my mate saying I'm going round on the 19th of Nov instead.

It looks like technical wizardry. Everyone said from an earlier trailer that they wouldn’t be able to stack that many NPC’s on a beach…they have.

I was looking into this recently, but bloody hell the prices of the drives these days is insane. It's annoying as I just share the game with my kids, so it all gets eaten up very quickly. If you find a good deal, post it up!

Crazy take, it’s a game. If it wasn’t ‘fake’ you’d be dead in 30s with no respawn.

There were flats in Canning Town where the dealers had taken over after people had been evicted, not exactly far fetched.

I just think it would be a lot more believable if there were half as many police cars and they lasted for more than half a second each before they exploded into oblivion.

I mean for silliness there’s Saint’s Row. GTA5 feels on the ridiculous side of believable.

I think this too, I am a bit concerned it might be a little bit too complex, more like an RPG. One of the things about GTA is it's one of the few genuine pick up and play games, you can leave it for 6 months mid campaign and come back and dive right in.

From what i have seen i think it will have a bit of both, i think you can probably make it as in depth as you want to a degree, their will be people who will just race through missions to get to the end as quick as possible to people who will be aiming for 100% completion from the word go, looking at the size and depth of the game 100% completion is going to take some doing.
