Shame you didnt catch me seconds after following that Audi, when I put some distance into a 182 catching him off guard.

I was sat up tpp high, and felt like driving a bus, I will try next meet with seat as it is right now, as far down as it will go.

I edged away from the 172/182trophy when a audi turned off to right, standing start, pulled about 4 car lengths on them by 70mph, catching them unawares. I was follow adamhodg most of time, and when he passed and I followed, I lunged up on him like an Impreza, just I need to practice the corners a bit more.

Dervil, get some strut braces in there With slightly lower and stiffer shocks and springs, get hold of the Octavia VRS wheels (17" I think..) lower profile tyres..

Indeed. Would probably be pretty good then.

Don't have any roads that look like that down here, not that last more than a couple of miles anyway.

I'll keep an eye out to see if you're having one of these sunday drives when I'm in Ponte.

strut braces, lowering springs & I thought of RS4 wheels, seen some on ebay less than 400.

In mean time I lowered my seat as far as it goes, and get some practice in pushing the handling, give it another go then at next meet. I will film my practice's and put the clips on google video.

i always drive with my seat high up mate, cant get used to driving with the seat low down ,feels like im overstretching for the steering wheel if i do ............

I think my biggest problem is I haven't really set time aside since getting the car to really explore its potential, and push handling to see what it can really do. My lack of confidence/knowlege on how it handles driven fast on twistys was all too aparant on Sunday! LOL
