Exhaust options for 182

Hi
i'm planning on getting my inlet matched by ben at angelworks and have alreadly added an ITG panel filter, also want to get the car chipped but before i do i need to select an exhaust. Any chance you could make some recommendation, looking for a nice stuble noise nothing to bloomy but want it to sound sweet, but mainly looking for the biggest power increase (if thats possible). was thinking maybe a sports cat as dont want MOT issues, any opionions would be greatly appricated.

If your after a performance increase I think the only guys to claim proven increases are Yozzasport and Shed Motorsport. Miltek may also be worth a look, there's a group buy on the go in the for sale section.

Although I have a blueflame and my car feels easier to rev and sounds better too, I doubt it's made any massive increases in output.

cheers for the advice mate, just been looking around and there is a miltek stockest near me, just woundering if anyone has one on here and what they think of it? the video online look ok however it does sound rather bloomy, may just be the video though

The thing is mate, usually if you want performance, it will be loud and "bloomy" (lol couldnt resist, sorry)

But if you want it quite when cruising and just more subtle you wont usually see big gains, only a few bhp maybe.

For quietness, i would say Janspeed.

Watch the vids of some of the exhuasts suggested as you might be surprised at how loud they are.

do people get genuine improvements in bhp or torque from exhuasts on clios? i had a decat on my 106 and got 7bhp, is the clio the same then?

the 182 allready has a sports cat as such 200cell i think and a sport one begin 100 not worth it,

btb is a good exhaust with proven gains of 6/7 bhp iirc sold buy shed motorsport.

our decat fitted to our exhaust makes a massive difference

you can notice it (and hear it LOL, but i'd want to hear it for the price!)

I got a janspeed system with a decat, it has increased performance and revs a lot more freely. They weren't too expensive either. Sounds great too.
