182 bliss!!

I have owned my 182 from new since Feb 06, my baby. at times i have become frustrated with her, rattling and such. but i adore my wee car!
I own my own home, i could buy an evo or a boxster new without financial concerns but i worry that i'll never feel the same about another car!!
I know this sounds bonkers, but does anyone not won't to 'upgrade' are we reno sport lovers or what?

No its human nature to want better, be it car , woman/man or house.
I find it good to take stock every now and again, look back to 3,4 yrs ago when there was no way that I thought that I would own a 182 or be in the advanced, better? work/life postition that Iam now.

You know what I feel the same mate. I am in a similar position as you but cannot at the moment think of a car that I would like to upgrade to that puts such a smile on my face and that I look forward to driving so much everyday.

I'd just rather spunk my money on houses rather than cars for now anyway. Makes more financial sense.

I feel the same about mine, I'm always looking at other cars, but I know I couldn't quite get rid of my 182 just yet! And when I do, it will be to get a v6, and my boyfriend is having my 182, so I can still drive her! Otherwise I know I'd miss it!

aye, a few of my mates who earn about the same as me have 3 series', Z3's (1.8) lol, TT etc...

i'm happy with mine though tbh, i own the car outright, unlike all of them! and it leaves me with lots of money left after mortgage, bills etc to spend on the car, clothes, holidays etc etc

i think the same as Deb too, if i sell it would only be for a Mk2 V6 next year. i looked at M3's, i could afford one, but i'd be on pasta and sauce every funking night!

I'm in the same boat as you Davey, after paying the mortage bills etc me and my girlfriend have quite a bit of ,money left over enough to afford to buy a Lotus Exige or something around the 30K mark, but i do love the little 172 and own it outright, so atm i'd be silly to get something else.
