AUDI S3 WINGMIRRORS ON 182????????

Well what a sunny day... silly rhianna ever since she was number 1 its been raining

anyway was just wandering, i bought a 182 couple months back and have just fell in love with it but before i bagged it i was looking at audi s3....

now the same colour audi s3 as my 182 ( blue ) comes with 'metallic' silver wing mirrors; anyone know how/if/where i could get this done and what price as i think it would look mint.... also opinions on if it would look mint or if im having a moment????!?!?!?!?!?!

i really wanted an s3 but finally realised i would be living on baked beans and bread if i got one so eventually got a pretty good deal -----

182 with pvt plate R18 TOO, 22500k, full cup pack £7'600 so i wasnt gutted for long and think eventually i made right choice as i love the babs now just keep thinking bout those wingmirrors on a blue 182 but need more opinions or at the very least slagging off lol

your probs looking at about 80 quid i would have thought... would be a non laquered 2 pack..... my painter would do them for about 50-60 for me.... problem is if theyre using water base its expensive and they have a minimum mixing amount...

i see and would that be just to paint the wings iv already got????

if so... and obvioulsy if the people were good..... would it look pretty nice or a bit shoddy... never had any paint jobs done ya see

The Megane 225 Cup/F1 has Antracite mirrors which I think look really cool, especially if the bullets are colour coded to match.

Personally going Silve like those on the Audi may look odd, but hey its your car who am I to tell you what to do LOL

thats why i popped it on here buddy see what people think..... and also see if it was possible..... either via a paint job or whether i could get metallic silver wings off an s3 or 225 from a scrappy and prit-stick them on

basically would it look nice if the job was mint?? AND is it possible to either paint job it or pop some off something else

can i just put s3 wing mirrors on my clio... is it that simple???

pics of your clio mirrors and pics of the s3 mirrors would help.

i doubt very much baseplates are the same, you could try somehow use the clio baseplate and modify the new mirror to fit onto it, then feed your wires through if its electric/heated.

alot of hassle for a pair of mirrors, but if you need em, then do it

The bases will be different. I think it will look gash.

If you wanted the wing mirrors silver (not chrome) then you could juts simply get the wing mirrors painted.

I'd just leave them as they are.
