How do you refurb lightly kurbed alloys?

Car  1.8 8v RSi
I'm assuming someone on here knows how its done....would be greatly appreciated if you could let me know as i wanna give it a go myself...
also I'm going to be painting them in a different colour....
any tips on that as well?
eg.....the whole process...
If my attempt fails I'll just send them off to be done properly

recon if i paid this guy £60 he would do it for me? lol...douesnt sound has hard as i thought.....guess it just need dedication and no short cuts...

yeah i was thinkin that but....if it can be done with tyres on then well yeah lol....i dunno really....

well to get kerbing out i angle grinded the rim, i wouldnt fancy doing that with tyres on personally

Don't Halfords sell Alloy repair kits.

Probably not the best way but I'm sure if you took your time or practised on a crummy old wheel you didn't care about, you could get it looking good.

yeah...was suggested by garage lol.... but i dont trust myself with an angle grinder....might just get a taste for destruction n anihlate them

never looked to halfords for that lol....but might just pop in tomorrow n look...otherwise ill follow that first guide

its the "proper" way to do it, take the tyres off, but theres really no need at all.

i just let all the air out so i can slide the masking tape down the back

nah, you have to drive about with the tyres deflated, thats the downside.

you get used to it though.

loads more launch traction, great for 1/4 miling.

sarcastic s**t, i ment do they have to be resealed or something at the garrage?

;) nah just inflate em as normal.

tbh i dunno what you mean by reseal?

ive blew up loads of deflated tyres and never "resealed" any?

i aint a tyre fitter though so maybe im cutting a corner, i dunno.

no comebacks though
