Just test drove a ph2 172 and.......

Loved the look of it! its sooooooo bloody nice!! the 172 FF wheels with yoko tyres were soo nice! The tyres revealed a lot of the FF's lip which looked the nuts!!

BUT!

Test drove it, and he told me i could test the power of it, which i did. When i was driving it and changed gear at 60k revs, the stop and handbrake light came on, and i was like 'uh oh'.... is that the brake fluid level warning signs?

And also, when we was stationary and talking, the engine was left running, and can feel the car shake, and shudder, like as if you was cold. if u know what i mean. What problems may cause this?

The car was priced at £5320, but he says i can have it for £5k.

In all seriousness the RS Clios do have a rough idle.

The lip does look nice yeah, i have the same but really easy to have an accident with a kurb Never good with powercoated wheels

inferno red is the 182 cup. monaco blue is a nice colour for 172

the lights are when you have low brake fluid.

its more obvious when your going round corners, as the fluid sloshes about.


the idles a common thing, if you go round the back you cn hear it spluttering, all normal. did you do the dash board trick.

could be either 182 not just a cup.

From the sounds of it, it sounds to me like he's just given it death from the off (without letting it warm up first)

Watch out for the alloys, as that lip gets kerbed up pretty easily.

I think you must mean Flame Red. Inferno is 182 only as pointed out.

not an amazing price imo - i paid 5300 for my cup with 33k on the clock in mint condition, i took mine for a spin, and idled just fine, they can have a rough idle but a good service usually sorts this out

the rough idle is normal tho, i wouldnt let that put you off next time.

Don't worry about the stop/handbrake light, both of mine did that from new with heavy cornering, design fault with some sensor.
