I have just lowered the back atm waiting for my mate who works at VW to finish work and come round with proper tools tonight to do the fronts.

Im a little shocked at how low it looks haha will it be alright with people sat in the back ?


Its a fairly big drop though that isnt it

Definately not 40mm mate, have you fitted them correctly?

But as Coby said, they might not look as low as that when u fit the front.

Followed fubars guide and there sat in the rubber housing things corectly, guess they were just listed wrong. Oh well see how it looks when the fronts are on.

Does look good, but expect it to go higher when the front is fitted.

Hopefully the Spax are a better ride than the Apex's i have on my car... such a hard right!

what can happen ?

I mean i'll take it carefull its only 30 mph roads to my gfs anyway,

I went down my road in it just feels proper bouncy at the mo :rasp:

Yeah never ever get apex they're shockingly bumpy!

APEX 40's are more like 50mm minimum....expect 60mm once your shocks have leaked a bit.

They will have just sagged over time, you will probably notice them knocking together or marks on the coils where they have knocked in the past.

The fronts higher so it pushes the back down. When its lowered at the front itll even out
