I would but id have to go on my own and tbh i dont know what im looking for...
it would be alot of fapping about aswell driving it back and swapping over my insurance as im only 19. i was going to wait while march wich is when i get my 2 years no claims. dad was gunner drive this one back from birmingam.

If It was me, i'd ring him/her up and get them to walk round the car with you on the phone.

Make a list beforehand of what you want to ask, like this...

FL wing
FR wing
D/Door
P/Door
LR wing
RR wing
o/s/f tyre make, cond
n/s/f tyre make, cond
......................etc etc, I'm sure you get the drift

And get them to talk you round EVERY part of the car, including EVERY invoice/service stamp they have aswell.

It will give you a good idea of the car without having to travel 150-odd miles to see a load of s**t and waste yours/your dads time.

Thats what I do to customers that call from miles away and 9/10 they deposit over the phone as i've been completely upfront.

Car looks decent enough, and i know fred knows his stuff, but if some one asked me to look at a car i would need to be its 110% right before i told them to but money down on it. I would always feel any problems they would whine at me for not seeing it .
