197 wheel nuts - rusty

as title. Does my nut in!!!!


Is there anything to buy i can put over them like most car manufacturers started to do 20 years ago, or if not, what can i paint them with???

I'd be interested in this aswell, having my nuts on show has meant they've discoloured and corroded.

My rear ones went a bit manky, I scrubbed them down & gave them a coat of hammerite smooth silver paint. They look a lot better.

cool. was thinking good ol hammerite would be the best bet.

does the paint not chip off when you tighten the bolts??

i had a look through the halfords bargain box the other day they had caps for like 99p so maybe try and get some of them

just paint them, done

bake em in the oven for 30min at 100deg C they'll be fine
