just read up on a review tht the 1.2 has 60bhp as a base model and if this car is as fucked as it seems to be it has less than tht. but the new car i intend to get is a younger and haasnt been in any accidents and has service history and logbook etc and thts gotta count for somethin considering the one i have atm doesnt have any of the above and was in a cat d right off last november. im just doin wot i think is right. i dont wanna drive the car i bought any more especially not when it seems like a deathtrap and shouldnt reali be on the road.

60bhp for 8valve model, you have 16valve so it's 75 bhp.

im 99.9% sure its 75 as I have one but yeah. if it has been cat d then your better off getting a different one anyway.

no luck gettin money back for my dodgey car becuase the guy who sold me has gone to work ofshore for 2 weeks but i WILL be gettin my money wen he gets back, then the garage tht is giving me my new car is gonna deliver it... still not happy i gotta wait 2 weeks but at least im finally gettin somewhere and its defo gettin sorted.

a further research i have found out the model im gettin (1.5 dci dynamique+) actually has 85 bhp so its not much difference but its difference none the less so i aint argueing bout it just ppl are sayin one thing and some are sayin another bottom line is it will be faster.

DCI 1.5'S come in 65bhp 85bhp and 105 bhp iirc, depends which model you get.

are they fuk my mates got a dci 80 and mine is exactly the same apart from mine is quicker in first and second

well its a diesel so will sound like a tractor. gutted. couldnt be assed paying extra for a diesel car just because the engine size is bigger. i wouldnt count on a 1.5DCi pulling away from a 1.2 to be honest.

just get another 1.2 16v - it will be cheaper and probably more reliable than the last one if you get it from the right place
