My mates MR2 is being featured in jap performance shortly.

His feature is long overdue imo! Below is some pics which wont make the final magazine edit but you get the idea.

TOTB RWD winner last 2 years running

Fastest MR2 in europe

10.4 sec quarters.

Pics above are the new spec for this year, no engine changes but maragoni have provided new stickier slicks and nathans shed about 140kg of weight from the car.

Going for the fastest MR2 in the worlds time which is a yank MR2 9.8 sec quarter.


Tyre gel is the last thing jap performance were interested in

i get it the car looks cack but has awsome power whats there not to get ?

All the bodywork is chosen for maximum weight loss for example the gash headlights weigh less than half of what the originals do.

The mirrors are also much lighter than original.

Its chosen for weightloss not looks lol and when it does 10 second quarters you dont have much chance to ogle the bodywork
