RB 182 - Super Clean + New Recaros!

Car  BMW 440i
Gave the 182 a thorough clean yesterday!


  • Washed using Dodo Juice Shampoo
  • Clayed (Desperately Needed)
  • Hand Polished with Vanilla Clearkote Hand Polish
  • Waxed with Collinite 476
  • Engine Bay had a little scrub down but didnt spend much effort there, will be when i have the new engine cover back from Nathj though!

Recaro's were from a member on here selling up, he also fitted them for me very kindly!

It started raining before i had chance to do the roof, i had clayed, polished and waxed the rest of the car, but wanted to do the roof last. Ended up not doing it, but it will get done soon. This shows the beading after 2 minutes between the spoiler and roof! lol

Looks mint mate, not tooooo keen on the recaros, but im sure they are much better than the standard softies!
 
Love the RB but the not the Recaros im afraid!

What did they come out of or are they an aftermarket seat?
 
Yup, Bought them on thursday. Make the car look like a 'real' hot hatch imo compared to the standard seats. I have the other seats anyway if i ever fancy selling them and going back to the normal ones! I change my mind alot with things! Lol

Looking good, love the recaro's. Dunno how you keep your car so mint all the time. Every time I see it outside boots library it's mint, lol. No washing equiptment in my uni accomodation, lol.
 
Cheers! Its normally filthy when its at Uni, youl have to look a bit closer! I clean it about every two weeks. :)

Recaro's were £500.

It did originally have stripes, but Steve Murr removed tem before i bought it, cant tell they ever had any though with regards to the paintwork!
 
looks lovely, nice choice with the recaro's too! shame about the rain though :(
 
Echo the comments on the chairs. They look like they're inflated. The car looks sweet otherwise though.

love RB. looks lovley! some from silvervisions on the front would go well though!

i need to get some new form of front seats my cup pov spec are terrible!
 
Looking nice, the seats are definitely an improvement on the previous.

Its in desperate need of silvertecs though!

loving the evo 8 MR recaro's, I fancy a pair for my clio in the near future, if I can get a hold of some ofcourse

This was the colour i wanted orignally but went for LY in the end!


I like the recaros but can't help but think a retrim in the leather/alcantara of the std car would look more factory. Oh and i too dislike the c*ck ring pmsl

They are from a Mitsubishi Evo 8 MR. :)

Suck my c*ck...ring. lol Ive always liked the look of them for some reason, it will be staying :)



Ive already been getting a couple of quotes to have the two recaros retrimmed in leather. Im going to be visiting a place next month to have a look at a bit of work/samples. Will most likely be getting done over the Summer. :) Not going to rush into it as i want it to look spot on/oem.
 
Love the Recaros myself. I got my Trendlines with Clio subframes for similar price to you otherwise I'd have been chasing the ones you got as they were my first choice.
