Iv modified my clio 172 to a good standard for track day fun. Parts upgraded are brakes, suspensions, buckets, harnesses and tyres(888).

Iv just brought an L200 for work so the clios a second car from now, my mate at the pub tonight was trying to talk into going the next stage with the car. E.g polycarb windows, more stripping, cage, fibreglass panels etc.... but i was arguing will all that make a track day any more FUN!!!

Would you have more fun at oulton(including petrol) for the day or buying and fitting polycarb window???

Just wanted a few opinions??

depends how long ya keeping it, if not long use the money just for track days, if more serious then go the whole hog.

as above really. weight shedding is free power to a certain extent, then u get into the poly windows etc. which does cost.


personally, id say if its a toss up between getting polys or a trackday....the trackday would win evry time.
