Have you had it diagnosed or are you just aiming the parts cannon and hoping for the best?New ecu didn’t work. I’m at a loss, checked all the fuses everything seems ok 🤷♂️
I already took it there and he told me to buy a new column which I did. It didn’t fix it so was told that it could be the ecu that needed recoding. So I did that and that didn’t fix it either.Just take it to Micks and get him to sort it? Will save you a lot of headaches surely?
Yeah it was done by this placeHave you had it diagnosed or are you just aiming the parts cannon and hoping for the best?
Does the new ECU need to be coded?
Has it been plugged into a proper diagnostics computer?
Alternator been checked?
I presume you have had all the relays and fuses out and cleaned the connections to see if they are at all faulty?
Yeah I checked they’re all good. The steering fuse is inside the little black distribution box on my kit. It’s one of the 60a ones.
Doubt it’s that though. 😬
My thoughts exactly
It's had a new column and ecu though hasn't it?
What was wrong with the replacements? Both fucked too?
No idea but same fault apparently which seems strange.
Mick seems to think there’s something else going on with the wiring
Sounds like it could be a decent bill coming!Update from Mick - he thinks there is a short in the dash loom somewhere. Sounds like a right ball ache isolating and inspecting the loom sections.
Yeah can't waitSounds like it could be a decent bill coming!
