Confused by my 172's wheels...

It is a 53 plate, Phase 2. As far as i was aware it should have 16s on but it currently has standard 15s on as the person before must of swapped them over for better condition ones.

The thing that's confusing me is, when I put my reg number into a tyre search site it says the recommended wheels/tyre are 15s, why is this?

Did certain Phase 2s come with the 15s?

Someone please help as i've rattled my brain trying to understand this!

All 2.0 ph2 172s came with 16s mate.

Quite often, the only Renaultsport Clio listed on these databases is the ph1 172, which did come with 15" wheels.

Ha tell me about it! They actually do look alright, most people have said they are suprised how decent it looks, but it definitely needs some nice 16s, looking at TD Monza Rs, 1.2s and Turinis.

Not sure what else is decent in that style...
