i need to start dismantling the car around mid july for some work to start, i may be able to start it at the cottage so maybe the first few weekends in july i will start at the cottage get as much off with it still being drivable...

you need your spare wheel and shocks back. FK have been a little slack on getting back to me as of yet

Flol. I spent £1000+ on them. Then sold them, not from any bias, purely because they were shite. And the company providing them were shite. Then on removal, found that both height adjusters were snapped.

I'm not biased, I'm experienced:rasp:.

Opinions are like arseholes, we all have them! Imo the most subjective thing on any car is suspension setup. Such a personal thing, I enjoy a very loose/oversteer feel. I know lots of people that hate that!

Shame you didn't get a drive in mine at Bedford, would of been interested in your thoughts!

The mistake I made was not driving the options I was considering before buying, I'd advise anyone to have a go before buying!

The only dampers worth getting, at the moment, are KW V2's.

well its the end of an era for mine, but will be heading elsewhere....
now the passats about the clio can get a little more silly....so an hour with Danlp6 and the car was half of what it use to be....

it will soon be going to a friends unit were it will stay for a fair while whilst the overhaul continues....

Isn't that a blast from the past? He helped me in the early stages of my f4r conversion and then something went sour on the forum and he disappeared? Always seemed a very helpful guy when i spoke to him?! Is that the same fella?

get it as light as poss but still be comfortable, most stuff will go, looking at different panels too...i dunno really yet...lol

thats the guy, i have never had any problems with dan, he has been very helpful and good to me, there was a sour period and he keeps a lowish profile now but he is still about, he helped russ alot with his ITB conversion
