1.2 16v clio wont fire up

The car trns over fine, battery is fine. Got the RAC out and they told me to change the top engine wiring loom and all be sorted. So spent £160 to get this fixed. Just got in my car and same thing is happening. What can i do. Can it be my key?

Well its in garage again at the min. I did wiggle everything. But i will give them a clean aswell

Well the garage seem to think its the loom i bought. Is there anything else i can try when i go to the garage tomorrow? Cleaning all fuses help?

I bought the loom fron RenParts on here, so it wernt new.

there you go then, second hand parts are the devil (sometimes!)

Hmm well ive emailed them just waiting a reply. Fred it only happens when i try to start it when engine hot.

doubt its loom related, normally the crank sensor, relays, throttle pedal and or throttle body, they're the common faults on them

Okay nice one fred, im gonna change crank sensor and clean relays and see then. Do you do the new loom crank sensors?

Relays where at fault for mine. luckily i was local to Fred at the time.

Fred done a lot of poking wiggling jiggering and cleaned the terminals. fired up straight away after that

Aahh yeaa he told me to wiggle, well i will give that a go and clean with wd40
