After many faults with various things to do with the electric throttle I was wondering what would be required to go back to the old school cable throttle on a 172 ph2?
At a guess I would presume I need the
172 throttle body
cable
ecu
engine loom
sensors of some sort
pedal
any info...

the car is a 172 (02)
i have the electronic fault light on (piece of bread symbol)
rs tuner chucked up the following code(s)
DF0008
DF0196
it says throttle pedal position track 1?
anyone got any ideas?
car has been stood for 6 months with no fault codes or running issues.

10w40 oil and the noise stays even when car is up to full working temperature, and yes they were done at my local renault dealer

How long do people reckon to leave the car running for? I am certain it isn't dephaser as when it gets to temperature it doesn't make the diesel noise at all

the car has developed a strange tap/knock/rattle when on/offing the the throttle, I looked on youtube and the closest thing to what mine sounds like is this video

It's not the dephaser as that has very recently been changed it sounds like a heat shield...
Just an update problem is corrected,
it was the small square plug that goes into the uch, I had not clipped it in properly! ...... DOH!
