Now fixed and back on the road according to the police :o
That is not the R-sport ECU from Hill Power it is the Renault Group N ECU.
R-Sport ECU is done by Radbourne Racing for Renault and only available direct from them.
Main problems were with the power steering and the dealer employing monkeys.
Had 3 failures of the auto tensioner on the aux belt. 3 new belts and 2 pumps. Used to slip and make a hell of a noise when cold. Dealers had not got a clue. Paint was very poor with rust on the boot and rear bumper...
I was at Star city a few weeks ago with the RSC Lee.
Neil the seats only took an hour to fit myself and that includes the removal of the old seats
Think i fitted them in Cuppys clio in less than half an hour. Then another 10-15 minutes to modify the seat looms so the serv and airbag lights...
Not gutted mate.
Best thing that happened to that car.
Spent more time at the dealers than with me. Had it 6 months and the faults it had when i got it were still on it when it was smashed after many a trip to the dealers.
Think it is being put back on the road by somebody in wolverhampton.

When my Cup was written off it was 6 months old. I had the replacement car if it was less than 12 months old. They paid me out at £12,300 as that was the price they could get a new one for but the delivery time was over 3 months and i could not be without a car for that long so they...
Put a turbo on the Busa engine.
Mates westfield Buse Turbo is running 250bhp plus and 10.665 1/4 mile last time out sideways. Does get through a clutch or two a month.
I went from a clio Cup to a Octavia vRS. Best thing i ever did
Its slower off the mark but in gear its much quicker due to the turbo coming in at 2k.
Only costs £450 to get it up to 230bhp.
Standard 0-60 7.9 with 146 top end. Paid £13400 for mine...
I got a Skoda vRS in the end.

Getting the miles put on at the moment as it is booked in at Jabbasport for a chip and re-map on the 5th November. Will hopefully be pushing over 230bhp and close to 290bhp...
