Yup Socket - possibllt torx sockets aswel but should all fit in very easily - remember tho that there isnt much room to work in there! The thermostat shjould just plug in. I did mine not long ago but cant remeber how easy it was im afraid.
Ah yes, but i dont want to spray the really really hot bits, just the plastic cover ;) Was kinda hoping standard Halfords paint would do the trick..... ive got some at home and have just done my wing mirrors...
When the car is at a standstill and i begin to turn the wheel, the power from the engine is seriously drained and the rev counter drops bellow 400rpm!! Plus the steering is really heavy and makes a terrible drone and also feels like its rubbing as the wheel turns through the steering...
Yup - always gonna be the alternator- it could be a loose belt - a fooked battery or just simply the alternator broke. Get it sorted asap coz you dont want to get stuck on the motorway!
Ok, just want to do a few checks on my breaks to make sure they are in good condition, the mechanic it was with said they were fine but i want to make sure.....
Christ mate - thats awful. Mine was an attempted break in too. The door no longer sits flush with the body and the seal looks really lumpy - crpa really - can get new ones from renault tho i suppose which should make a pretty huge difference.
