I've had this since april 2011. 1 of 1 Solar Orange 8j TT RS, no one else was daft enough to spec this exclusive colour. Recaro Wingbacks too!
It's now Stage 2 tune, 430bhp ish Coilovers arbs and Wavetrac LSD 70k miles. I still love it nice quick point to point car, makes some good noises too.

Right Our 2017 SEAT Atteca is doing our heads in.
We have a horrible fault of KESSY which is Keyless Entry

Every time we get in the car the dash lights up with Keyless Entry Fault and "Bings" for 5mins until you are at a decent speed and then stops but if you stop at lights it flashes up and "Bings" again, If you are in a 20mph zone it is constant.

Well VCDS / Ross-Tech / VAGCOM came to our rescue and we are thinking it's a passenger door handle as these have the built in sesnor inside. We have already bought a drivers one and replaced it but it still shows the fault.

So now looking to get a passenger door handle but my worry is this also states in the fault log as " Rear lid opener control module: " (Blue Arrow)
When I bought the drivers side door handle the SEAT parts guy said he sells loads of handles as they go faulty all the time and the most common one was the drivers side.

Here is the log - Anyone got any thoughts / Input before I go and spunk another £230 on a handle.

Looks like the CC needs a pair of rear shocks. Brand new they are expensive, by any random chance anyone used the likes of these off eBay etc.

Cliosport long shot... Does anybody here work for Seat, or the wider VW group?

I am trying to order a repair kit, but my local dealer is stupid. I tried TPS, who offered to help, but ordered the wrong part, then gave up because I am not trade / the part number doesn't reference to our VIN - Despite me having the official technical service bulletin from ERWIN. 🙃

What part are you after? I've used these two before for most parts.

05e198701a.

TPS would only supply me 05e198701 (Which is just a replacement actuator arm and circlip)

It's a repair kit to supposedly stop turbo wastegate / actuator rattle... Very common on the 1.5tsi engine, but little information online - I wanted to validate the fix actually works.

Although the pricing is obscene, around £84 for 2x spring washers and 2x circlips.

Gave the Cupra a wash as it’s been pretty neglected for the past couple of months. Flew through its MoT the other week and had an aircon regas.

Not sure what to do with it now though. Do I move it along for something else or keep it a bit longer? 🤔

First service is overdue on my Leon, got a quote today from Arnold Clark Cupra at £292. Seems a bit excessive for essentially an oil change and a walkround the vehicle?

Mines on a 2 year service plan (minor/major) + breakdown for £16 pm, so yeah a single service for nearly £300 is a rip off.

Also getting some warranty work done. Still have to pay for the courtesy car which I thought is a piss take considering it’s a manufacture’s fault. The fee is f**k all really but it’s the principle which is annoying me 😂
