182 project - West Yorkshire

Still got the ABS light which is annoying but hey ho. It needs the belts doing and Renault Junkies look good and sound reasonable; anyone used them? Also any tips for what I should be looking at cost-wise for wheel balancing? Thanks all

Got the belts and water pump etc done by Renault Junkies; recommended. He also did the ABS light and ball joints, it drives a lot better now and I am so glad not to have warning lights for a change…

Just passed MOT and they sorted the weak washer fluid pump out by fixing it, which has (oddly) stopped the loud clicking of the relays on intermittent wiper setting. French electrics are insane…

Got it booked in for a wheel bearing and have changed the oil and filter, so it’s now pretty much all done!

Might sell it soon but only if someone who is going to look after it wants to give me sensible money, otherwise I’ll keep it. I have been tempted by the new electric Renault 5, because now they’ve been out a while the prices on nearly new ones are now within reach.

They look cool but I think the drive will be a bit on the boring side.
