Afaik unless yours is a Cup which I’m fairly sure it isn’t then it should have CC as standard, so the wiring should be there somewhere 🤷♂️
Mine's got the rain sensing wipers and xenons, so I think it's just a regular ol 182.
Lovely stuff that the wiring's in there. So basically just a case of getting the squib/controls etc, and then making that work with the buttons on the Nardi?
The cruise buttons work by resistance so you would need to add required resistors if not present already. On 182 id imagine the rest of the wiring will already be fitted, add cruise squib, cruise and clutch switch and your away.
I presume so mate.
Aye! The joys of buying a car on a platform I'm completely unfamiliar with, with zero paperwork.
A severe case of "what on earth even is this?"![]()
Ha Yep! I’m still learning too but with the help of this forum I’m sure you’ll get to grips with these baguettes. There’s tones of info you just need to search about.
Do you have this panel by chance, this should determine if the CC is present or not?

If you press the cruise switch, do you get Set come up on the dash?
I managed to retro fit cruise to my 172.
I added the clutch switch, A 182 Squib & a Volantech panel for the operation of cruise etc.
There is also a guide on here

Installing Cruise Control on a 172
Hi all, I never really thought it was easily done until I took my control panel off and realised I had 2 unused plugs behind it. How hard and what work is involved to install cruise on my car and what do I need? So far I'm aware I need a steering wheel with cruise control buttons, the...www.cliosport.net
Yes thats correct. Black plug for cruise.@bvnditi
Just looked through my photos of when I retrofitted my cruise.
Have Attached photos of the squib, cruise panel & the wiring.
From Memory the black plug is for cruise & the grey plug is horn. The two yellows are for the airbag.
So check your car & if you have the black plug I believe you will already have the correct squib.
@Brigsy Does that sound correct as you know a lot more than I do.

Get yourself some Goo Gone (orange liquid). Seems stronger than Autoglym stuff. After a lot of swearing, Autoglym tar remover, and the unfortunate sacrifice of my Tesco Clubcard (RIP 🫡), I have defeated the no-no square.
Removing the Renomotive postage label glue was legitimately harder than fitting the bonnet itself lol

Bloody good to know, cheers boss!Get yourself some Goo Gone (orange liquid). Seems stronger than Autoglym stuff.
As long as the bolt spacing on the front struts suit your car they are a good upgrade for sure.
