Just as well no one uses that forum really :(
Indeed.
Mine has a lever above the grille that you pull out (after pulling the lever inside the car) to release the bonnet. Would of thought yours should be the same
Thats better Maz. I got you the first time ;)
In what way did the changes you made compromise the handling? Was it just ride quality on road that suffered or what? Was it bad on track?
I think she means accept the looks of the car at standard ride height! She was being a little confusing I agree.
I would take 'to deal' with something to mean actually doing something to change it. Then it would be 'dealt' with ;)
Thats actually illegal I believe.
(If you were being serious about that?)
A good trick is to name her on your insurance as named driver - knocked about £50 off my premium
The old one. Motorway was OK as long as I feathered the throttle slightly.
Normal driving around town (around 3k) it was too boomy for my taste. Sounded f**king mean on full throttle though
When I had a K-tec stealth fitted it cured the 4k rattle. Admittably the back box had fallen off on the way to K-tec so it was'nt like I could hear it anymore!
(I also had a sports cat fitted at the same time, so the problem 'could' have been there too)
I just asked K-tec to have a look...
I went to Trent for 3 years. Can't remember seeing one Cup tbh - and believe me I was looking, I was pretty obsessed with getting one throughout the final year!
IMO thats really the reason you did'nt buy a Cup. Not why people do buy Cup's. Some times maybe. Personally price did'nt come into it at all.
Ralph - you were so right!
I hit it very rarely - only done it 2 or 3 times. The power drops off before you reach the limiter so theres not much point IMO. (Except it can be argued that you'll drop into the next gear at higher revs, hence nearer 5k power zone.)
Won't do any harm every now and again if the engines warmed...
Marks is serviced more regularly than normal I believe.
Around 40k is when there supposed to start to fly anyhow. I'm nearly on 41k and it gets a good workout regularly. Loves it
I'm starting to think that is the case too. Fine with me!
What I'm wondering now is if inlet manifold matching is so worth while on a Cup. Not as much to gain maybe?
Keep it.
Your obviously not completely sold on the R26 and still enjoy the 182.
How did you feel after you test drove the 182? Did you struggle to make a decision like you are now? I suspect not
