182 manifold on a 172

I'm in the process of buying a 182 manifold and k-tec sports cat .


Can anyone advise on the best place for fitting , how much it will cost and if i require any other parts .?

I can remember a guy on here got his fitted for about £200 takes about a day but i think they,ll need to cut up either ur existing 172cat or ur 172manifold to be able to connect the two but well worth it.

if you have the k-tec cat it should be a direct fit, if not you need someone to shorten your 172 cat.
either way you need to drop the subframe to fit it.

I was told u didnt need to touch the subframe. Plus i was told u need to cut the flanges off both ends of the 182manifold then jus weld a bit in the middle cos the 1 i bought has the lamba sensor connection and wire i think

im fitting mine soon, may just take some photo's and a possible guide.

oh and they cost over 400 quid now, renault have put prices up.
